Position Overview
The APP will evaluate and manage adult Rheumatology patients in an outpatient setting, both independently and in collaboration with the supervising physician.
The practice sees a broad range of rheumatologic conditions and offers a supportive environment for experienced providers as well as motivated new graduates.
Responsibilities include:
- New patient evaluations
- Follow-up visits
- Treatment planning and patient education
- Medication management
- Care coordination with specialists and primary care providers
- Ongoing management of chronic rheumatologic conditions
Ideal Candidate
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Massachusetts license or eligibility for licensure
- DEA or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Interest in Rheumatology and long-term specialty practice
- Experienced providers preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
